Beautiful pictures- aren't they magnificent- are they Friesians? Are they yours? Someone takes very good care of those two fellows! I've had a life-long love affair with horses that I'm afraid I'll never out-grow- my very first blog post was about a painting I was working on of a horse, if you're interested in some late-night seeing/reading... http://bigbangstudio.blogspot.com/2009/08/blue-horse.html
hi, catching up on some of your posts (pictures too of course!) and loving them all as usual. those sepia toned photos of the horses, that llama below ( it is a llam right?) llama's are one of my favorites, i once visited a llama farm way up in the far corner's of vermont, they raise them for other's to take home, we so seriously almost did. i'd love one day to have the real space for one to just hang out with. such faces!
you are so blessed to live on a farm!! i wish my husband and i could find an opportunity to live out in the country. we live in the city and i am miserable here. we manage a small apartment building and the owner wanted us to rake up all of the leaves. i thought they were so absolutely beautiful everywhere (covering up the concrete and bringing such lovely, soft color to us), i felt like i was destroying them.....every leaf so precious and beautiful. i'm even shaking now after such an ordeal. such a blanket of leaves was so wonderful. it made me just want to walk away from this job immediately! you are so blessed to live where you do. do you know of anyone who needs help on a farm? we would drop everything in a minute if we could live out in the country again!! your blog touches my heart and heals my thoughts so much.....thank you for being there and sharing such a precious world!! debbie

they are stunning nadia!
These photographs are so beautiful. I especially love the picture of the two horses looking up at the camera from their hay meal.
It looks really cold in these photos. Was it? Or did the black and white just create that feeling?
