i love having my mum here. they like her too, because they know
how wonderfully kind and lovely she is. It's been so much fun, it has beyond nice,
it has been as it should always be, just right. sharing this time with her and her sharing time with me.

You note about the old horse got me all choked up. I think that must be him in the picture with your mother, standing just a bit away, but comforted by her presence. We rescued an abused horse when I was a kid. My mom worked with him every day, trying to gain his trust. It was miraculous to see him finally trust us and heal and accept our affection. That's a wonderful breakthrough you had with your old fellow. Thank you so much for sharing that story.
