january love

I feel at home on the farm, snow covered hills and frozen pond. Sun
bright and high. dogs running and playing, the crisp air makes
my cheeks rosey and the little hidden treasure against the winter
landscape inspire me. I would find it hard to find a place
such as this one, that brings me such happiness and quietness i often long for.

i came to take a peek at my friends "house" (la porte rouge), and i am leaving happier:) it's comforting to know life still marches on, even through the pauses...my list of things i need to document adds up with each day that goes by, now that i'm back home i need to discipline myself to get back to blogging...it was a good break, although i don't think my ideas are as fresh as they would be if i had sat down in the moment to write.

love the music and pictures, i hope your holidays were wonderful, and cheers to a new year!

Normally I don't really miss having a car (living in the city and all) but seeing these images makes me wish I could take off on a road trip right now to find some place like this. So lovely.

I'm such a city AND summer girl, but these pictures make me want to bundle up and run and run and run through those lovely landscapes.

By the way, I finally got myself a pair of red flats, after loving your banner for months and months!

i can sense the quiet in all of these--i am in the same mindset today--looking back at a quiet week in the country and hoping to find those moments in the city as well...i love the image of the branch with what almost looks like your sparkles!

nadia i have just worked through all of your posts that i have missed.

i have often observed nature and found many a lesson to learn from her. i like your fresh perspective on spring and moving with that rythmn.

your kitchen reminds me of one of my friends with whom i could spend an emtire day. her kitchen has a small wooden table by the window. her kitchen has colour and life like yours. it speaks of warmth and love but mostly it speaks of welcome.

is it maybe time to create a new dream or even a few? this question struck a chord in my heart.
