Isn't it a magical time of year? I saw four deer crossing the trail last night as I walked down St. Mountain in the dusk. They were just dark silhouettes against the trail, the sunset glowing pink between the trees above . . . I wish I could share the image. Thank you for sharing these. That first one just took my breath away.
thank you for taking us on the walk...i could feel the leaves crunching under my feet and could look all around me and feel the forest. it must have been the perfect fall moments...
this just makes me want to be outside. i hit the farmer's market in union square this morning, but even all those vibrant pumpkins and mums can't cover up the surrounding dull concrete and faded brick.

these images are beautiful. magical. I was in Central Park the other day...not exactly the "woods" but such a lovely place in the heart of my wonderful city. I love the colors of fall, the crisp air, all the changes...so promising.

A walk in a forest in the autumn can be so magical! As a live in a big city and have no car it doesn't happen so often. But when it happen-I love it!!
