let go, fade, open

the day is grey, it is not complaint in anyway. tomorrow it will snow they say.
i went for  a long drive, i listened to music while my minds voice spoke, it had a lot to say.
sometimes i feel as if my mind describes things that my heart sees, sometimes i would like to tell it to hush, for sometimes i do not want to define a time with words that may make things permanent but instead allow  it to evolve, to change to fade.

today my exhales were long, profound

I am not fading dear readers, a bit of exhaustion, excitement and change has taken much of my time. a dear friend told me how she  has been listening to eckart tolle on you tube and the timing of that has been perfect, for i am in need of focus. i was thinking how a hand can let go instantly with the simple  opening, if only the heart and the mind could instantly do that too.

..and that snow they said would come tomorrow, has come today.

things

trying to find myself in things, but you can't really. You have things that make you feel better, that even though they sit quietly most of the time when needed they speak to you. today wednesday, a lovely sunny day requiring a thin sweater yet i find myself a bit melancholy, perhaps because love is leaving, because of a sad paragraph in my book or because reasons i can not explain or understand. does writing this down make me feel better, yes, yes it does and just like that the sun reaches in and the smell of ratatouille lifts my spirits!

how are you dear friends

the knocking wind and color

in the very early morning the most incredible strong wind and rain had our farm surrounded. i love a good storm but with animals somewhere deep into the pasture, i worry. it is all okay now a few blown doors and scattered things that is all. the sun is bright and white clouds move quickly and the wind well he is still trying to come in.

I have been gathering things to decorate the house for the holidays but before i do so somethings must be put away, i found myself visiting upstairs and decided to snap a few shots of some color.

*it is a beautiful day, warm i mean take your sweater off warm, run and get the sunscreen warm! more about it tomorrow- i am actually going to cut the grass( just the very long new grass). i think my cheeks are already red yikes!!

where is home

i am on my way home to montreal , just stopped for a mocha in burlington vt. i love where i was born, proud of canada for many things but today driving threw the green lush mountains where the fog seems to be taking it's time lifting, i start to feel that my home does not have a street address or border to cross but a place where i find peace within me. like when i was living in a tent, or when k and i are deep into the woods, or swimming in the ocean , in those places i feel at home.

i will be signing off for a few days, forgot my camera charger but still have a little bit to capture a bit of montreal for you so i better make it good:)

with kindness,
nadia
