wednesday

i have promised photographs from italy and i have many but unfortunately my computer has run out of memory and i was only able to download a few. I will remedy it upon my return from Sweden. I will like to spend a night in Stockholm can anyone recommend a budget friendly place to spend the night. I have cut the trip very short basically work and home, i need to be home i want to be home on the hill and enjoy every minute of the ever changing landscape with....

It has rained for nine days straight, epic rain but today the fog came too, i feel at home in the fog a familiar friend who helps me be still and see clearly.

Dear readers, how are you? - i have been terrible with correspondence- not being able to keep up. i have never been able to write a quick email when a intimate one is needed. What are your plans, are you growing anything form your fire escape, balcony, window sill or garden. I am very behind but so much i enjoy are fast growers so i will catch up. I am thinking of you realizing i miss writing here and hearing you.

I do miss your posts and your beautiful writing but it sounds like work is taking you to some lovely places.

I look forward to pictures of Italy and the hill in May.

You asked what I am growing: tomatoes, kale, chard, eggplant, cosmos, blanket flowers, poppies. chrysanthemums, rudibecka, roses. I at the place right now that I could just grow flowers. I need to surf more, figure out my letterpress, quilt, bake bread..... Just my life.

I hope yours is lovely and full of peace.

It seems as if your adventure has begun..the photos are beautiful. I don't really have green fingers but I've recently had a yearning to get down in the soil and plant things, so I've ordered seeds from Sarah Raven.
Looking forward to more photos when you return to the hill.

Good to see and read you again. I can't wait to see more of your Italy photos. I am going to Rome for 2 1/5 weeks later this month and I can't wait (If you have any place to recommend-places to eat, things to see I would LOVE to hear from you)

Enjoy your beautiful hill. Here, my flowers are doing well, but no vegetables till we get back...
