balance

Hello, I was about to write how spring is in the air and i am excited about it, but just as i started to type large snow flakes began to fall on the hill, it will not last but winter is beginning to intrude on spring i for one do not mind it and love that i know it is something out of my control. I have been busy on all fronts but i have also been happy, spending my days with the right balance of work and laziness. I went home to montreal last weekend to celebrate my nieces birthday and a play she was in, the whole productions had me over joyed even chocked up with how talented and beautiful children are.

The house has began to take shape, aligning my vision of what i always wanted the interior to look like,  a balance of function and design. I have also booked my tickets to Italy for the workshop and now have began to make plans for a few extra days in tuscany and florence, would love any recommendations you might have for lodging ( small budget friendly) i am looking at also a possible farm stay. Speaking about traveling my tickets have been bought for my trip ( work and play) to Sweden, Norway and Iceland in June so any recommendation on those areas would be appreciated too.

Dear readers,  i have so much to tell you but i am being cautious, putting my feeling and thoughts in check. hope you are doing well.

* sasha my first chicken gifted to me by a neighbour a few years back in the house  for some extra tlc

the smell of gardenia in my bedroom, bliss.

These pictures are pure poetry. Your days sound lovely as do your upcoming travels. How I’d love to meet you in Norway! Outside my window, spring has put her pretty frock away and is wearing an old barn coat. I don’t mind today. Thank you for visiting.

Sasha looks so sweet & thoughtful sitting there in the window.
Spring has become my favorite season in my 40's. Here in Seattle, the pink cherry blossoms against the gray sky is a beautiful soft contrast.

I have so missed your posts! Having a new puppy sucks the energy out of me. I am so glad life is in check and that you've found a balance. Nothing okay, almost nothing is better than balance in life. Especially when it comes to seeing family. I do hope all is well with you, Sasha is a beauty! Have a wonderful weekend Nadia!

Hello! Always so good to read your words and feel the energy that surrounds you in your place!
I am so happy you are going to travel to Tuscany, you are going to love it :)
I was born in a town nearby - even if now I live abroad, since last Sept. If you need advice or a local guide, just let me know. I could put you in touch with my sister-in-law, an excellent tour guide with a lot of "insider addresses", plus she is American so the language would not be a problem!
Ciao :)
