almost and a walk around the lake

it happened today around one thirty, the moment i waited for two years came. the chores where done, animals fed, garden watered, house cleaned. a few hours of editing this weekend shoots, i found myself in the living room. the breeze a mix of warm and cool traveling through the house. my body decided it was time and it looked promising i layed myself on the white couch, my body resting against the french ticking and linen pillows my eyes began too close, i was about to nap and i was going to let it happen- no it was not a choice but a must, i even thought about the post i would write about as i slowly began to fall. i was a sleep- finally! then a minute later the phone rang and i was up. i almost did it, took a nap in the afternoon.

Magical, serene & I must whisper a confession. I expected to see a fawn walk across the path as I gazed.

How lovely. There is NOTHING better than taking a walk in the woods with a friend (or in my case a puppy).

captured the essence beautifully, the reflection on the water, the trees and the little bridge.... so distant from the life that I am living but so close to my heart, thank you!
