november apples

i find myself taking small drives to the apple orchard, the sun pierces through the remaining leaves that make everything the most beautiful golden yellow. many apples still hang from the trees and fallen apples are cradled in a cluster of leaves. i find myself wondering about these apples thinking about how they are still clinging in the november air that will soon be december...

*your comments play over in my mind like sweet notes tucked in my pocket, thank you so very much for all the kind words!
i think i am back now...

I went out for a walk on the island tonight at dusk. As I walked, I passed several apple trees and one pear tree, all with fruit still clinging. Here we are on the cusp of winter, and they are still hanging on.

Your photos are lovely. xo

can we go for a walk in the apple orchard?

can we lie down between the leaves and stare into blue?

can we turn on our tummies and feel the sun and crisp air on our backs?

can we,please?

i really want to talk to you.

You've captured the light in these photos beautifully! Those apples look scrumptious. We've also had a good November, so no wonder there are still apples growing in the trees.
