where is home

i am on my way home to montreal , just stopped for a mocha in burlington vt. i love where i was born, proud of canada for many things but today driving threw the green lush mountains where the fog seems to be taking it's time lifting, i start to feel that my home does not have a street address or border to cross but a place where i find peace within me. like when i was living in a tent, or when k and i are deep into the woods, or swimming in the ocean , in those places i feel at home.

i will be signing off for a few days, forgot my camera charger but still have a little bit to capture a bit of montreal for you so i better make it good:)

with kindness,
nadia

yes, home is where you find peace within no matter where you are. and travelling can occur without even taking a step.

you are right.

I want to swim in the ocean! I feel at home there too!

Have a wonderful time! I've never been to Montreal (shameful!), but I hear nothing but beautiful things about it. I tend to feel most at home when I'm in a forest or by the ocean :)

i think those comments about where you find home are wonderful. it's true really, i can head back to my home town and elements of it feel like home but so do many other places. enjoy that part of canada that is home to you, can't wait to see what you and your camera share when you get back :)

I agree - home is that peaceful sanctuary where you feel okay to be you. I'm surprised how many places feel that way for me.
