le studio (Giveaway)

a confession. january first ten thousand gallons of water flooded my studio, sprinkler system froze. I had not been to my studio in month. somehow i had trouble finding the motivation to go. i was stuck. i have been stuck for a long time. when it happened i felt bad for the tenants below me. i thought i deserved what had happened for not using this space. I have done that a lot in my life.

the last few days i have spent many hours cleaning it. i remember all those plans i had made for this space. it is lovely, it truly is. i am lucky to have it, but sometimes i think that the space is unlucky to have me as a tenant. i would like to change that, make it, make k and make me proud of it. pictures are taken yesterday while trying to clean it. i lost my red piano, it got soaked, it plays sad notes, one-day i believe it will live again.

*dear swappers don't forget to mail your package around the fifteenth( give or take) and post about it!!!

* i will also send a summertime swap package to one person! anyone can enter!!! closes monday!

**finally i am off to meet a very special pastry chef, photographer stylist and friend! nervous and giddy!

Goodness, that's really sad! Don't get too hard on yourself, these things randomly happen. The space is really beautiful, and I'm sure you'll have it looking even better soon enough. Hang in there!

lovely room, even when waterlogged. Do you need a stowaway? If I lived closer I'd be straight over to help you out with the tidying.

such a wonderful space. I'd just like to pull a daybed out into the middle of the room and read my book.

have a good weekend, and let a little sunshine back into your heart.

hmmm, that studio space, to me, seems like it wants you to be more than just a studio. as if it should house all things you find beautiful and perhaps could be a vintage shop of yours. i'm not sure why i think this, it just seems that way.

WHat a lovely sweet space. Beautiful and it looks loved. Lil rain makes us appreciate the sunshine right? I am sorry you had to go through that though Sweet Friend.
I am out of town so I mailed my package on the 13th! I don't know though when I should post about it-I took pics and I am so so excited for the person to receive- even if they don't like it is filled with love and good intentions. Everyone can appreciate that!
