i am thinking about you, wondering what parts of summer your looking forward too. i am wondering if you pulled your favorite summer clothes from deep within the closet? i was wondering if you will be going somewhere that you never have gone before. i also thought how i wanted to do a swap. a handmade music cd. a postcard or two, and something that makes you happy. would like to join? if so leave a comment and on monday i will close the swap and email you your swapper. I am thinking we should try to put it in the mail around the 15th of june! i will give you more information when i email your partners information! I received music from fellow bloggers last year and playing it made happy- thought the same might make you happy!

Summer is very "here" in Florida, so I've put away my cooler weather wardrobe. I love the idea of some new music and always want an excuse to make cards. Count me in!

As for the summer, I'm looking forward to some travel, spending some time with my folks, who I don't get to see often enough and who are getting on in years, and unscheduled days!
My summer plans include trying to find lots of art projects to keep my boys entertained.
I'd love to do a swap since I love sending funny Japanese items back to the states! (Don't worry. I have an american address so it's not hard to mail to me.)

as for summer, we have a trip to chicago on the calendar & a weekend at a mountain house too. leaving by the beach, i like my vacations northward!

My summer plan is to escape from a big city to a smallish city. I will ride bike, play with my god daughter, hike through the countyside and maybe eat lots of cheese and frozen custard all with a very dear (and moved away) friend.

Dearest Nadia, I love that this will be my very first swap! We will be spending a month back home with my parents and my sister's family. I look forward to big family meals under the trees and plenty of board games and movie nights. Since I live half a world away from them this is a commitment to see each other every few years so my kids will know their grandparents and cousins.
Depending on how many players we get for the swap, I would also love to send all of you a postcard from my adopted home of Cyprus. This way we all get to go somewhere exotic even for a few moments...

what a great idea! I'd love to play, but can't; I'm booked with two twenty-page papers, an international conference, and a LOT of grading to do before June 15. It'll be fun to read about others' experiences, though!
I'm looking forward to my first summer off since about grade 8. Looking forward to picnics at the beach, riding my bicycle, and sipping iced tea with friends.

this summer, i'm looking forward to meeting up with my not-husband on tour at least once, and hopefully more. summertime is hard, as he's usually gone more than he is home. but visits make it a little easier.
