although we are back in providence for a few days, staying at the beautiful house of our lovely friend cynthia.. i thought i would share the fire we had the other night. will you like some homemade tortillas and chili. take a seat and enjoy.

I can smell the fire! Campfires are so intimate. You are right, the picture of Sophie looks like an illustration in a children's fairy tale book. So gorgeous.

My first thought of Sophie's photo was that it was like a pastoral scene in oil from the old masters.

My favourite photograph (apart from the one of Sophie of course) is the one with the tea lights and the pine cones in front of the flames... So lovely!
