things are beginning to take shape, the house always smells wonderful from the holiday baking. ribbon, thread, twine and buttons come out of drawers. Pine cones adorn the staircase doilies find a new purpose and mental lists make unto paper.

fun! i'm using pinecones this year too, my husband's aunt brought them up from south carolina and their enormous. I love the doilies on the staircase, so pretty pretty and simple!
