getting to know my home part two

there is still carpet to be torn out, walls to be painted, weeds to be plucked many boxes to unpack, and paintings to hang. Sophie is getting used the sounds and is the best sleeper i have ever seen. there has been dinner on the the deck, deep conversation, laughter, some arguing and the time i locked myself out for hours...but the best thing of all is, that it getting to be ours. another thing that is now ours is a new friend for sophie, a newfoundland pup named grace that i will introduce you too right after i tell my husband we can keep her ( hence the arguing) him " i am bringing home a sister for sophie" me" what! sophie is a giant puppy and a lot of work" him i will just bring her home for you to meet her" me " ya right like i will be able to say no to her after she has been here for a few days" him "sure you will"

sure i will:)

that red painted chair slays me. Where did you put that set? I wanna come over & make pies at that table. Or play gin. Or DRINK gin from jelly jars!

I am loving these shots. All of your shots of red are just perfection, my dear!

I want your home! I know I will want the puppy - except those are truly sizeable dogs. Just keep your nice shoes hidden up high somewhere when he starts teething. I certainly hope you will post a picture so we can all oooh and ahh. I love how you have these little 'cozy corners' in your home that are so pretty to photograph.

Oops! I just realized the puppy is in the picture, kind of softly blends in and I did not notice him. Oooh and Ahhh! I love those dogs. They are so popular in Canada, maybe because it's always cold here and they have a thick coat.

The teapot is adorable and so is your "puppy". Your photos are lovely and the chandelier is fantastic. My sister had a similar one.
