You look lovely in red in the middle of all this beauty. And no hiking boots? no comfortable pants?

Elizabeth...
We started New mexico then went to Aspen the Maroon bells, then went to Vail, the rockies, Boulder and many places in between- it lovely out there.

Corine..
I hike in keen sandals no matter how steep and dangerous and skirts -easier for many reasons.(people think i am a nut at 16000 ft...and thank you for the compliment i was actually a mess...

yes!! i thought i recognized the trail! hmmm..we were there in july, but my jim just reminded me it was the year before last. my life is a blur at times...i think everything happened last year, last week, yesterday...it's such a beautiful place--i wish i could have stayed. (my brother works at the aspen institute for physics every summer and sometimes we try to visit him there.)

It's been years since I went to Colorado but it made me feel as welcome and comfortable as the mountain of my youth. I love that you hike in red :)

Memories of amazing vacations serve as quick getaways for me too sometimes, although no where near as good as the real deal!
