a little village named wickford

Monday after our weekend of hiking the mountain
we decide to take a ride to the ocean. We walked for hours
in Narragansett. Then made our way home on scenic route
one and that is where i came across this little village by the sea
name Wickford. Some window shopping and then a delicious shop
named Beauty and the Bath where I came across the loveliest shower
caps. now I have not worn one in years, but since my hair is very curly and
once in a while i like to wear it straight- i could not resist one of them.
Everything so floral I was instantly transformed to my shabby chic days
and declared myself a girl for the day!

Your photos are forever inspiring me - where is it you live?
I especially like those feminine dresses hanging in a row!

oh wow is the first thing that came out of my mouth when I saw that first photo with the flowers on the window... reminds me of my grandmother's balcony. I want to be good with flowers, I want to know how to take care of them, love them... I need guidance.

Oh how wonderful. I'll have to try and visit this July on my way up to New Hampshire. What was the Book Garden like?
