the color in the lake and a healthy glow

I spent many hours this weekend exploring the forest. It is an amazing place. arriving at the lake i could not help but stare at all the leaves that floated just below the water line...so crisp i was tempted to join them. It got me thinking about natures cycle, then from there i started to think about our skin and hair. I thought it might be fun or better yet informative if everyone commented with a a beauty ritual or must have or a secret to everlasting youth:) but seriously the fall is when the skin begins to react differently.....just like the leaves in water look crisp and healthy- what makes you glow...

The ocean breeze on my skin, the scent of salt in the air, always somehow reminds me of how large life is.

what beautiful delicate images...i think the secret to everlasting beauty & youth is kindness, being loving, honest & generous...& of course an excellent moisturizer & lots of water!

I think quantities of chocolate in many forms, and taken at regular intervals, is the secret to glowing with health and happiness... Oh and an unquenchable curiosity - like for leaves in lakes... Well, it works for me ;)

hmmm..such lovely images here...what makes me glow is laughing with friends, long walks on chilly days, (and drinking lots of water and getting lots of rest...for sure) OH! and a mask (can i be shallow here for a minute?) of yogurt and honey...then rinse it off...glow!

That first pic is truly magical...
For me, a good nap makes me glow. And the tighter I wear my bun, the smoother the wrinkles are ;-)

I used to have 1000 beauty secrets but i have reduced to 3 0r 4.
I just can say that an aunt of mine let her hair white, all white at 50, she was stunning,my father got not along with her so I sow her few times and the last one i was breathless, she
was wearing purple, a gold necklace an a carre hair cut, all her hair shinning white.
This woman knew how to bright in her own personal fall.
AND I ADORE YOUR PHOTOS!!!!!!

Your pictures are beautiful!

What makes me glow? Well, there's the actual skin treatments - for me, living in the cold Northeast, it means a humidifier and lots of lotion! But regardless of how dry my skin is, I am glowing when I'm laughing with my boys (my husband and son).

I remember a girl form high school who had a constant smile on her face.
you could pass by her in the street and she was smiling. She wasn't especially pretty but I always wanted to approach her and never dared. I was thinking of her a few days ago and i would love to meet her again. That girl was seriously glowing !
To really answer your question, my beauty ritual is a daily siesta, a Clinique cream but i must admit desire in all its forms and creativity are powerful ingredients in this glowing affair!

I glow when I'm deep down happy. Having proper sleep and staying hydrated helps, too.

i like to think that I glow when I smile, but as I grow older I believe I glow when someone beside me is happy...

A light exfoliation and drinking LOTS of water always seem to make my face glow. That's the physical.

The spiritual...happiness shines from a face, and makes it most attractive.

Beautiful pics.

Lots of water and living in a wet climate, if you mean literally. When I'm not self conscious, I have a better chance of being myself. I put walls up and keep them there unless I forget...

GORGEOUS pictures.
