do you ever have one of those days that you look around you and say i have everything right here that i could possibly ever want well i had one. saturday the temperature was in the sixties , humid, rainy. i knew that this day would be one of the last of it's kind this year and thought we should take the dogs to the ocean and let them swim. it poured all the way there and rained hard once we stepped out of the car but the second we saw sophie run along the waves and grace play in the sand we knew we had not made a mistake. we spent at least an hour and a half on the beach but it was only the last half hour that i felt it safe enough to bring out the camera (covered in a plastic bag). I have to tell you we were soaked but the sun was desperately trying to come out and as it peaked thru the clouds the light was incredible, then as it disappeared the whole sky changed to this beautiful misty rain with a glow i could not describe except to say it was clearly a reflection of what i was feeling inside..happy to have all of them and this moment.
