life is a bowl of cherries!

scooter resting on the back porch, colored pencils spread on a table, a pretty little dress hanging on a hook, children’s books being read out loud by sweet voices, comical tooth brushes resting next to ours, giggles as little feet are chased all around the house by fury paws, fruit devoured by the handful, these are the cherries on top!

I am the only person in our house who likes to eat cherries. They have become my singular summer treat. I can buy them with the confidence that they will not be pinched by my kids or my man! Selfish, probably, but I love them.

I'm so completely in awe of your blog. I feel like I have been stalking you a little ever since I found it. (Just let me know if it's too much.) Seeing all your pictures from snowy days and walks through the forests and vegetable gardens so much reminds me of my childhood on a farm here in Norway. Thank you for posting your magical pictures and thoughts. They are inspiring me more than you'll ever know!
