a weekend by the beach

What a gorgeous weekend( although record heat had me running for shade) we decided to take an impromptu camping trip by the shore. we started off by walking around Portsmouth nh, then sitting in the shade at a cafe sipping a cold drink and chatting to many dog loving folks. then we walked on rye beach for hours just before sunset, it was perfection. in the evening we sat by our campfire, while the most incredible ocean breeze kept us cool and we reminisced about the past and talked about the things to come. the morning the birds from the state preservation that we where camping at sang and sang in fact there was so many varieties so many sounds that it really got noisy!
