Take your fears out of the drawer!
I watched a movie recently " milk" starring my future husband in heaven sean penn. in it his character harvey gets a life thretening drawing. He takes it and puts it on his fridge, his partner asked him "why" and his reply " if we put what we fear in a drawer it will grow bigger bigger..." that phrase stuck with me. So the other day i decided to put a few things i feared on my fridge and i invite you to do the same, you can send me photo and i will post it, of course anonymously if you wish. then i will put it on a postcard and hang it outside till the writing fades and then i will notify you when it has so you can fear it no longer...silly maybe but why not. The other day i got to play in a flower shop i adore, i will post all about it soon, but the more surprisingly thing about it is, i asked the owner(who i had once feared) if i could and his reply was "sure i have nothing to loose" my sentiments exactly!

Such a great idea. Count me in! I bet the shop owner would give anything to get his hands on your photos...
wow. that is pretty incredible. i will do it. it's just what i need right now. thank you nadia.
i agree that the florist would love your photos. i really like your idea, especially the part about hanging it outside until it fades. i will try it.
what a lovely idea...these photos are so gorgeous...playing in flower shops sounds like a dream :o)
Nadia, looking at your photos, I can feel the smells of spring.
That's a great idea, I think I'll try it!I hope there's enough space on the fridge for all my fears :)
we will have to share the husband in heaven too because he will mine also! nadia, those ranunculus make me sooo happy!
these photos are so great.
i watched 'milk' recently too. i cried (happy and sad tears)b/c that's just how i roll i guess. beautiful idea nadia...but can i face my fears to even write them down? that will be the real challenge!

this is a beautiful idea!!
An admission: I miss how fearless I was as a child:)
hmmm there are a few things i'm fearing i suppose at the moment. i will play along as well. very fabulous idea.
What a beautiful idea--if we all took the courage to look our fears in the eyes, there would be no end to what we could do. I am trying to learn that lesson every day!
What a great idea!! I am definitely going to try this. And how wonderful that putting your fear side allowed you to spend a day amongst all those beautiful flowers. Inspiring!
Wondrous images. I can't begin to name all the small ridiculous fears that stop me. My drawer is full. I need some spring cleaning.
a sweet post, nadia. thanks. now i'll go and freeze some fears... :)
what a great sentiment! i'm going to try that.
