My Antarctica by Duran Duran. Seriously brilliant song.

Sparring partners by Paolo Conte makes me weak in the knees. (Out of the French movie 5 x 2, also brilliant.) and Je suis venu te dire que je m'en fais, by Serge Gainsbourg.

Off to check out that horse feather song.

These are fun and whimsical! Love them.

As far as music goes, I've been very into The Shins, especially their album "Wincing the Night Away." But I would try some classical or jazz (if you like either). I find that kind of music inspires me and helps me think, especially when it's all instrumental.
