the fall air and the wardrobe

lately there has been been many discoveries, much learning, understanding.. all of that has led to knowing less about myself then ever before. the things i do know however are; i still like hanging my clothes outside in the fall air, my red shoes are aging , i refuse to be mean in real life . and i will never take a bright and beautiful fall day for granted.

Someone very wise once said to me when she was in her 80s that the older she got the more she learnt but the less she knew for certain. I think that's so true and a sign of real growth! I love these pictures - they so beautifully capture the gentleness of a faded autumn day! Never to be taken for granted... :)

never take a bright fall day for granted! that should be everyone's motto for this season. i often times look outside and feel so lucky to be able to have such bright days in the middle of winter. i want to squeeze every second out of those days.

Lucky you to see such beautiful fall colors! Just got back in town and was in Ohio just at the end of it, even got to see snow on my last day!!
Love all the colors you have here ...especially your red shoes!
I had limited time to access the internet and I could feel I was getting antsy for not being to come here and get my fill of beautiful...colors and words.
Thank you for being you Nadia. Really.

here here!!! These photos are lovely, there is life in your shoes, in your jacket, in the chair in the leaves.
Your work just keeps inspiring me--i wish i could breathe life and love into my work the way you do into your photos!

lovely shots and well-worn red shoes. think of the stories they could tell. a wonderful notion to see ourselves anew. it does keep us from becoming numb. your photos speak much about you, rich with insight and graciously embracing a moment.

the last post has got me thinking and i will add it to my list of resolutions. a healthy reminder. thank you for this blog you share.

i used to have a great clothesline, in the backyard. my father called me an indian because i would use up all of the line, then add clothes to tree brances, or whatever would hold them. i especially loved when it rained on the clothes then dried again, they would come back into the house with such a sweet smell, especially loved the sheets on a bed after that! so simple some pleasures are.
