there is a line in the godfather that says "go to the mattresses" i prefer the healing powers of fresh produce, hand picked raspberries, sunflower and zinnia bouquets and where each vegetable is a pieces of art..
It really is food for the soul...all the different colors, the restocking the fridge with such a variety, the atmosphere, and then getting to USE all that color in your meals. So enervating.
I love, love, love the colors of a farmers market. Your photos are perfect. I could just stand in the midst of a market and look around, feeling calm and relaxed...the only problem, budgeting myself!
definitely. it is show inspiring and recharging going to the farmer's market... i love when i am introduced to new things and when i speak to people that are passionate about their craft. i love learning from them whether they are produce farmers, cheese makers, florists, bakers, butchers...everything.
I love the farmers market too. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. My blog address is http://blog.jenniferlorton.com , stop by and say hi, if you get the chance. I am a mixed media artist. The veggie pictures are very inspiring. Thank you.
