the weekend.

this weekend there was greeting mum and having our first coffee of our vacation sitting on bench at fanueil hall, there was buying so many fruits and vegetables from the haymarket in boston that we made two trips to the car while we exchanged all the possible recipes almond and apricot tart, stones fruit crumbles, the fruit salad from sunday suppers and the broiled strawberry vanilla and ginger recipe we saw on seven spoons avacados with sea salt and pepper and so on( and on) there was tattes bakery in brookline so perfect we just can not get enough of this place. there was the little bird speaking to mum and the best window display-hundreds of old singer and jones sewing machine- i want them all! There was a visit to my brother's incredibly cool loft I AM NOT JEALOUS( nodding by head up and down)pictures of it soon!

wow just thinking of it there was much more i can add to this list, groceries at a new middle eastern market and great conversation about my memories of living in jerusalem, the ducklings and a broken leg, feeling what motherhood might be like through caring for new born ducklings( i know but i felt it almost a realization this is what motherhood will be for me the caring for animals), homemade chevre and asparagus pizza, three feet high vulture standing in my duck pond, there was plantings seeds in the garden..there was mangoes and more mochas.... breakfast with mum....a movie.... there was sunshine!

So gorgeous! Saw those window displays at our all saints here in the city. sort of wish they sold those instead of clothes.

My oh my, we were in Soho, and also Brooklyn AT THE SAME TIME!!! We could have met. We SHOULD have met! I too took picture of that store and all the sewing machines. Maybe we were there taking pictures at the same time. Maybe I'm in that window reflection too...
